Sundance Resort Lift Tickets
Sundance Resort offers full-day lift tickets, night lift tickets and season passes. Below is a breakdown of the lift passes and the key differences between the passes.
Full Day or Night Lift Ticket
Below is the difference between the Sundance Resort full-day and night lift tickets.
- Full-day tickets: This ticket gives you access to the mountain from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The beginner area day ticket is also available. Senior tickets must be purchased at the main Ticket Office with a valid ID and children under 5 is eligible for a free ticket at the ticket office.
- Night lift ticket: There are afternoon/evening tickets from 2 p.m.-9 p.m. and the night-only ticket is from 4:30 p.m.-9 p.m. Night skiing is available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, starting in mid-December. A Night Skiing Only Pass is also available.
Season Pass
Sundance Resort offeres 4 types of season passes:
- All Unlimited Passes: This pass offers unlimited access to skiing at Sundance Resort throughout the season including night skiing.
- All Midweek Passes: This pass offers unlimited access on Mondays to Fridays at Sundance Resort throughout the ski season, except on blackout dates. Night skiing included.
- VIP Unlimited Passes: This pass offers unlimited skiing at Sundance Resort throughout the season, including Fast Tracks, Dining Discounts, Retail Discounts, Rental Discounts, Lodging Discounts, and 2 Buddy Passes (single use only).
- Corporate Passes: This pass offers unlimited skiing at Sundance Resort throughout the season, including Fast Tracks, Dining Discounts, Retail Discounts, Rental Discounts, and Lodging Discounts. Tickets are limited, please contact the Ticket Office to purchase at 801-223-4849.

Sundance Resort Ski and Snowboard Lessons
Sundance Resort Ski and Snowboard School offer group and private lessons as well as longer learning programs for all ability levels.
- Group Lesson: This is a half-day or full-day lesson for ages 6 and above.
- Private Lesson: This is a half-day 3 hours lesson or a full-day 6-hour lesson for ages 4 and above. It can be a one-on-one individual lesson or group lesson with friends or families of up to 4 people, additional fees apply.
- Ladies Day Clinics: This is a first-timer group lesson tailored for women. The program is a half-day consecutive 4-week program.
- Multi-Week Evening Programs: This is a half-day 4-week program for ages 8 to 15. Reservations must be made by December 31 for the January sessions and January 22n for the February sessions.
- FreeRide Program: This is a 10-week (17 coaching sessions) program designed for athletes ages 8-14. The package includes a season pass and reservations must be made by December 31.
- Learn to Ski/Ride Package: This is a 4-week program designed for the first-timer. Reservations must be made by January 7.
Sundance requires leashes and/or ski brakes on all snowboards and skis.
Nearest Town to Sundance Resort
The closest town to Sundance Resort is Provo, Utah, which is approximately a 20-minute drive away. It offers a range of services and amenities, including dining, shopping, lodging, and entertainment options. Provo is also around an hour's drive from Snowbird and Alta Ski Area.
